Skilled in all dental techniques, at Torquay Smiles we see patients for general dental care, such as checkups and clean, fillings, teeth whiting, gum cleaning, wisdom tooth extractions, and children's oral hygiene care. We also will see emergency cases, orthodontics and clear aligners, sleep apnoea treatments, and dentures.

With advanced technology onsite, we can handle many procedures in our clinic, including digital X-rays, intraoral scanner, and more. And for those who might be a little anxious going into a procedure, we have inhalation Nitrous Oxide available to support you.

A Focus on Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics

Dr Mohammed has a special interest in orthodontics and has obtained additional certification in the field to provide you with the highest quality of care. We work closely with each patient to develop a personalised plan of care to achieve optimal results.

He is also well versed in early intervention techniques that may reduce the need for more expensive orthodontics in the long run. Having your child assessed early for crowding or bite or breathing issues can make things easier and potentially cheaper in the long term.

We offer a range of options to suit your needs, such as Damon braces, clear aligners, Myobrace, adult expansion, and more.

Community Sponsorships

As part of our commitment to our Surf Coast community and their oral health, we are looking to support local schools, sporting teams, mascots and the like with custom mouthguards.

When engaging in any sport—taekwondo, hockey, cricket, football, soccer—there's always a risk of damage to kids and adult teeth. It's important to protect them with a custom sports mouthguard.

Made on-premises, it's tailored specifically for each patient. They should be replaced about once a year, as the child grows. The cost of a custom mouthguard is a fraction of the cost to replace a broken tooth with a dental implant or bridge.
